fairytale--snow blue

Long ago, in a faraway place, there lived a lovely princess named Snow Blue. Her hair was yellow as gold, her lips red as rose, and her skin as white as snow. Snow Blue's biological mother, Rikara, was very loving and sweet.

She admired anyone who was more beautiful than her as she adored  Snow Blue too much. She would try many ways to imitate her only daughter include how she wear in public, treat people and have fun. Rikara treated Snow Blue like a princess. Snow Blue never complained. She was obedient and too rely on her mother, until she dreamed of a handsome prince who would take her away to his castle but she really despised the prince. She told her dream to her mum, but then her mum just ignored her. One day, while drawing water from the well, a handsome stranger did appear, charmed by Snow White's singing.

But Snow Blue was too busy to speak to him. Inside the castle, Rikara asked her magic mirror, "Mirror, mirror, on the wall, who is the fairest one of all?" Every day the mirror had the same reply. "You are the fairest," he told her. And Rikara was content for another day.

But as Snow Blue grew older, she also grew more beautiful. And Rikara became very jealous. She tried as much as beauty products as she can to make her beauty level equal with her daughter but became totally worst. She didn’t suit to apply any beauty products anymore. One day the magic mirror told Rikara that someone else was the fairest in the land. It was the princess, Snow Blue! She felt shocked and panicked; she cannot believe how it can happen. Throughout her life she didn’t want embarrass her daughter with her ugliness, in a worry and desperation, Rikara called her royal huntsman into the throne room. "Find lots of herbs in the forest and bring it back to me within a week, she commanded. She knew that in the mysterious, horrible forest, there are lots of herbs to make her glows back. As Snow Blue heard the command, she planned to join the huntsman. She did that as she wanted freedom from the annoying prince, who will always come to their house to flirt with her.

Rikara handed the stunned huntsman a beautiful carved box. "Poor me, I cannot kill myself. I must run away and hide from Rikara! "said the hunter to himself. Snow Blue was so excited to join the huntsman without knowing story behind the forest. She followed the huntsman through the dark woods but without she realized she lost him. At last she came to a cottage. "Who lives here?" Snow Blue wondered.

Then she heard voices singing in the distance. The seven dwarfs who lived in the cottage were coming home from a hard day at work in the diamond mine.

The dwarfs introduced themselves. Their names were Sleepy, Grumpy, Happy, Doc, Dopey, Sneezy, and Bashful. They invited Snow Blue to share their supper. Snow Blue felt so great with the dwarfs that she decided to stay with them. She felt an euphoria, just like at home when she played with them. In a week, she started to forget her home as she enjoyed having fun there. On the other hand, Rikara was extremely worried, she cannot find her daughter anywhere. She tried not to cry but in vain. She cannot accept it and keep asking to herself how did she survived without her only heir. She would have to find any solutions to bring back her princess. At last, she decided to take her own risk to enter  the haunted forest and find her daughter. She planned to bring along a poison for safety  if the witch in the forest would attack her.

She fled to the unique, classic room beneath the castle. There Rikara mixed a potion that would change her into an old hag. Then she took an apple and slowly dipped it into another potion. "One bite of this poisoned apple and the witch will close her eyes forever!" she cackled.

The old woman appeared at Snow Blue's window. "Hello, dearie," she said. "Taste one of my delicious apples. It's apple pies that make menfolk's mouths water. Pies made from apples like these." Then she held the poisoned apple out to Snow Blue.

The birds tried to warn Snow White away from the poisoned fruit. They fluttered and flew around the hag, trying to make her drop the apple. "Stop it! Stop it!" cried Snow Blue. The birds flew away sadly. Then the animals of the forest ran to the dwarfs to warn them that something was very wrong and they needed to come right home!

The seven dwarfs raced to the cottage and found the old woman trying to sneak away and Snow Blue lying lifeless on the floor. The dwarfs chased the hag into the forest. A storm began to blow as the evil woman ran away. Suddenly she came to the edge of a steep and rocky cliff.

First she tried to move a huge rock so it would roll down on top of the poor dwarfs and crush them. "Look out!" cried Grumpy to the others. At that moment, lightning struck. The woman lost her balance and fell to her doom! The sad little dwarfs built a bed of gold and glass for their beloved Snow Blue. They kept watch over her, day and night.

Then one day a handsome prince rode into the forest. How beautiful the young woman was! The Prince knelt down and kissed Snow Blue tenderly. His kiss awakened her. Snow Blue shocked as she opened her adorable green eyes and found the spoilt prince. She tried to ran, but the dwarfs keep persuaded her to treat the prince well. Finally, she tried to accept the prince due to his good deeds. The prince felt blissful but at the same time he felt doubtful to explain the truth. Actually, Rikara, who asked the prince to come and bring a medicine to recover her daughter. Within month, Snow Blue felt in love with the Prince. She  accepted the proposal from her prince. Anyways, a day before the  wedding day, the prince invited snow Blue to visit Rikara but she refused as still she cannot imagined how  could her lovely mum tried to poisoned her. She cannot  forgive her but  she followed the prince to go there to ask for a reason why her mum did it to her.

As she  arrived to her house, she can see the preparation of the wedding and that made her confused and stunned. Once Rikara saw her princess, she hugged her princess and keep apologized to her. She didn’t mean to poison her but the witch threatened to kill her whole citizens if she didn’t the poison to Snow Blue. The prince also told Snow Blue that Rikara, who was sent him to the forest and recover her. Snow Blue realized it and proud of her mum that she did right thing as she knew both of them had sacrificed many things.

Happily, Snow Blue and her prince enjoyed their wedding day. They also invited the witch to come along and  the witch surprised to have the invitation but still came to apologize to them. Then,  the witch promised not to disturb the country and regret of her sins.
